Every now and then I'll post a step or two on how to make a capacitor.

What? I know you studied capacitors.

well is it in the sandbox or not?
THE WEEKLY JUNK SUPERVISORPosted 2 months ago # -
idk

It is. And this capacitor is designed to work. I don't know why it's in the sandbox, but I might as well continue with the instructions.
1. Cut the foil sheets into equal areas, and cut some of the paper to a slightly larger area. Keep the areas small so that you will not have to work with large areas of foil and paper. Glue one of the foil sheets to the paper on one side, and repeat for the other side. Wait until they dry. Make sure that the foil contacts don't touch because otherwise it won't capacitate anything. I'll post step 2 later. You might want to put this in a book press so it won't curl up.Posted 2 months ago # -
u have to ask ben, but he already told u

I think that in order for this thread to continue, it might be necessary to move it out of the sandbox.

so im guesing that u r ejoying science this year
perfect little angel =PPosted 2 months ago # -
yup. I learned... let's see... about three things or so?
Posted 2 months ago # -
I'm waiting for this to be taken out of the sandbox................
Posted 2 months ago # -
still waiting...

if u dont understand y something was moved pm ben and ask him
THE WEEKLY JUNK SUPERVISORPosted 2 months ago # -
I know why it was moved.
Actually, I tested mine on a capacitance checker, and it had 230 uF of capacity. It wasn't very much, but it was certainly a working capacitor.Posted 2 months ago # -
ok this is getting rly rly confuzzling
THE WEEKLY JUNK SUPERVISORPosted 2 months ago # -
Sorry, that's only in DC. "uF" is the closest I can get to "micro farats".

oops 2300
Posted 2 months ago # -
ok ya no
THE WEEKLY JUNK SUPERVISORPosted 2 months ago # -
I will not finish this instruction list until this is moved out of the sandbox.

Either focus on capacitors or stop posting here. If Ben won't move it out of the sandbox there's no point in asking him to.

Don't tell me what to do. I used the LCR bridge to test a new capacitor today in DC. It was 6.55 micro farats.

1. I'll tell you if I want to.
